Its a Aholeapora Sp?
Its commonly know as the Hole in Butt Coral truely a rare find. Aholeapora are a soft coral species that doen't like too much light or flow.
They are reef safe but known for chemical warefare which can quickly foul a tank.

If anyone can help me out on the species or how to frag it that would be great.

Thats what one of my RBTAs looks like when it eats. It wants to make sure it gets every bite of food.

Do you think they can be fragged. If so, I would certainly not put more than one in a tank. Can you imagine 2 butt holes in the same tank.

I have met a few in my day, I have even been friends with a few, and on occasion, I have even been one myself, but more than one in the same house could be a real challenge.

Good Luck With It,
Trey

Your right it is quite dangerous to have more than one. A group of them can irritate the entire tank.

Aholeapora

I have seen this species before. If you want more of them, add alcohol to the tank. Some Aholeapora try to hide but alcohol will bring them out in the open. If you would like to collect some from the wild, they can be found in numbers on any of Houston's many freeways.
