Hey guys i just got my nano cube 15"W x 15"L x 12" H with the sump the volume is around 18Gallons
Lighting: 14K 150DE MH with 2 18" t-5 HO blues for lunar and supplement.

Water Movement: A closed loop with a quietone 1200 on it with 2 outputs moves water very well.

I have cycled, lit, skimmered, and have stocked it with and anemone and clown!

My question is do you think a clam will be alright in this tank, with lighting, the current and water volume. Also what kind?
I have a blue background if that influences the suggestions.

The tanks volume and location make it easy to tend to every day so i could probably dose by hand daily or weekly.

Any Dosing Suggestions?

It's nice i have the ability to look from the top to really admire the clams colors too!

I think you'd be fine w/ a derasa or squamosa under that lighting - but I'd avoid a maxima or crocea.

As for dosing - I would use a balanced food (plenty of "trace elements" in there and kalkwasser.

James

Could definitely do a maxima or crocea with the light close to the water line. You're using a phoenix bulb or what?

Man you might have enough lights for a much bigger tank! lol You should be fine with just about any clams.

yea i think im gonna just do corals, dose Ca Alk and Mg till the levels are dead on and let the anemone settle. After x-mas break ill see if i can find a green crocea! Like Electric Freakin Green!

lmk if you know/have one for sale or trade that will be available around Jan!
