Of those lfs' in and around Houston (excluding the coast), who seems to have the best selection vs. price of clean-up crews i.e. Trochus/Astrea, Nass., Cowries, Coral-Banded shrimps, Mithrax, etc etc etc?

Thank you for any input,

James :)

Bay Area Aquarium has a pretty good selection at pretty reasonably prices if that is within a good distance from you.

No one....I have noticed that they will get a bunch of one snail or cleaner and that's it....gotta keep looking or hit different LFS's.

I would say that The Fish Gallery is most likely to have more species at any given time, though their prices are kind of high.

Fish Land usually has quite a few Astrea and mithrax, and for a good price too. Just about everyone has coral banded shrimps typically. Nass and cowries are a little harder to find. T&T usually have large nass snails and also have conches for a decent price.

right now bay area aquarium has:
-large nassarius snails
-small nassarius snails (different species)
-margarita turbos
-zebra turbos
-cerith snails
-a few scarlet hermits
-blue and red leg hermits
-dwarf blue leg hermits
-emerald crabs
-sea hares
-sea bunnies
-various stars
-astrea turbos
-conchs
-peppermint shrimp
-nerite snails

all i can think of, but spring is quite the drive. i'd suggest hit up fish gallery, they have a ton of different clean up critters. and like ek said, you might have to hit up a few places to get a larger variety.
