I thought I'd share a video of my cleaner wrasses' behavior in the evening. When the halides are off and the tank is lit by mostly blue LEDs, the big yellow-headed male and the little female display some sort of courtship behavior, making paired ascents to the surface. It's kind of neat, although the video isn't very good because (as all other reefers know) iPhones just can't handle blue light. My link to GooglePhotos video:https://goo.gl/photos/twkCKbXqsivfQDML6Their relationship has not been so gentle all the time: after initially getting along well for several months, the little female spent a few weeks biting the big male's tail constantly. His poor tailfin was ragged and half-missing, but they have since reconciled and his tail healed/regrew. Now they are back to courting (spawning?) in the evenings.
