Has anyone ever "transplanted" this type of coral? If so how did you do it and did it survive? I need to know because it grows like weeds in my tank and I need to get rid of some of it.

$$$$$?

Hmmm. Let's see, approx. 1000 polyps @ $4 = $4000.00. Cha-Ching Cha-Ching. Someone tell me how to transplant it successfully and i'll give you a cut!

Scrape rock

I was hoping of someway to scrape them off due to that I would like to keep my live rock in tact. Just curiuos to know if anyone has done that and can you use superglue to attatch to other rock?

well if you have that many -- sounds like you have some room to experiment :)

transplant

Yea. I guess you do have a point there. No big loss if I lose a few. Just hate to see things die if it could be helped. Call me sentimental.

Superglue probally wont work. You can cut it as low as possible and use a needle and thread to hold it to LR rubble.

I have been very successful using superglue to transplant clove and glove polyps onto pieces of rubble rock since they don't have a slimy mat. I just use hemostats to gently pull off sections of them, dislodging them from the rock by the mat on which they grow.

Am I the lucky winner? :D
