I had 4 clown fish. a black storm and a midnight at that are paired and then 2 nearly nakeds that weren't paired. one of the naked's ended up passing away, and now the black storm is full on AGGRO to the remaining one. Its like a shark stalking its prey all day. I didn't witness any aggression when all 4 were in there.

I'm going to pick up a QT tank tomorrow to prepare for adding other fish, and was hoping i can catch the naked clown and at least give it some reprieve. Any hope to end aggro by either adding an anemone(s) or more clowns or should let this one heal up in QT and let it go?

I currently do not have anemones in my tank.

Clownfish are very aggressive towards other clowns once they are sexed. Especially after they pair up. I added two pair of clowns once to an eight foot tank, with respective nems on each end and the clowns would leave their nems and travel the whole length of the tank just to fight.

The only luck I've ever seen when mixing clowns is to add them before they are sexed. That way, two may change but the rest will hopefully remain unsexed and less prone to fighting.

I would wager your naked was killed my one of the other clowns. Adding another will likely result in the same. I'd get the remaining one out before he ends up dead too.

Ya, the anemone has offered some reprieve, the storm won't go near it. time to catch it though
