well i have had this clown fish for a while now and it likes to sleep almost floating on its side. When i first saw it i was like o no its gona die, but its lived for months like this. It eats and acts normally like the other clownfish. Should i be worried?

probably not. I have one that has always slept in the upper right front corner of every tank I've ever had him in and he always turns on his side at night. He just gently flutters with the flow in the tank and stays in that spot all night. Next morning he's back down in the middle of the tank swimming around.

My clown and the first in the tank when got. he's name is flamingo. but has established the name mingy  he does it all the time. Wonder if they feel safer up in the top of the water. Thinking there some weird cridders down there I'll just stay up here  I have also two cardinal which i bought in pairs and he's become more attached to one than the other, go figure. And the other cardinal just swims around by himself. maybe I need to buy another cardinal.

All of my clowns sleep on their side. I have a clarki that lays right in the middle of his anemone no fluttering at all just lays there on his side asleep. Then two perculas sleep in the anthelia and one percula switches sleeping between frogspawn, xenia and green hair mushrooms... Maybe he is looking for the perfect bed  I would say normal clowning around....
