I am upgrading my tank from a 20L to a 40 cube next week. I currently have 2 clowns and a mandarin. Now here comes the question. I would like to add another pair of clowns once the new tank is set up, but the pair that I like are babies (4-6 months old) vs my 1+ year plus clowns. Will that be an issue?

Same type of clown? you can try but i think the older one will kill the new one because your tank is small.

I have 3 different pairs( maroon, clarkii and true perc) in my 300g and they dont cross to the other 2 pairs territory. If they do cross, the other pair will chase them back to their territory.

I currently have Snowflakes but want the Blacker Ice pair as well. The ones from heads and tails

What i would do is buy a breed box like Heads n Tails got and hang it in ur tank then let ur snowflakes get to know them for a month and release them. Blackier ice is snowflake.

Awesome just for reference its going in your old cube I bought it from tony! I had been eyeing that tank since Reefwhisper had it lol. Thanks for the help I am going to do that.
