Found myself with a little unexpected free time today so I decided to tackle installing my APEX controller on the system. It's been in the closet for a few months now so I guess it was about time. Managed to get everything mounted in the cabinet like I wanted, with the display on the wall next to the aquarium.

I know that Neptune recommends that you mount everything above the waterline but I figure if my tank breaks and the 150gallons of water goes everywhere, the apex will be the least of my worries.

I even managed to figure out how to get it online and do a little port forwarding so that I could easily find my info when I wasn't home.

right now only the temp sensor, and PH probes are working. I will move all the pumps and stuff off the old power strip on to the apex after I get a chance to set up the programming.

On a down note, my skimmer pump started acting up again. I think the impeller is shot. I finally found the right needle wheel for it and have it on order.

The adventure continues.
