Hi

I got a small condylactis anemone and put it in the tank and before I could put it on the central flat rock with good light about halfway up the tank, it sorta wooshed away and tucked itself into a small cave on the side of the aquarium on the sand. I have a 6 g with 8w of light, so it does not seem to be in a position to get much light.

Should i move it, and if so how, or should I just let it be?

I say let it be, gotta give it time to adjust.

it will move where it wants to go. just leave him alone. and make sure he cant get sucked into a pump.
