Yep, you guessed it. I have a Neptune Aquacontroller with the Conductivity option, and I'd like to get a "Read" on what this can tell me about my salinity and (or preferrably) my Specific Gravity.

Is there a way to convert

Conductivity (in mS/cm)
Temperature (in Celcius)

Directly to Salinity (in ppt) or Specific gravity? And adjust for temp?

Come on you TAMUG Marine Bio Grads!!!! Give me something to work with here :D

Maybe shoot the manufacturer an email and see what they can tell you :) Is there anything about it listed in the owners manual?

My guess would be that you can't convert over to salinity in ppt because there are other things in the water that will factor into the conductivity. But hey I don't know what I'm talking about so let's see what others can add.
