I am having to replace a fitting that is going to my RO system that has a crack in it. And I really don't want to use a plastic one again. But the only ones I can find are cooper. Would that little piece of cooper be a deal breaker?

Its before the Ro and Di portions of the filter? Better yet before the sediment and carbon block? If so it should be fine. My entire house has copper piping.
