coral Id please (1 Viewer)

got this little piece out of the frag tank at city pets a few weeks back for my nano. Have since tried to ID it but cant seem to. They are not zoas. They are more of a encrusting type coral instead of individual polyps in a group. They are growin on a hard skeleton....but i dont know if thats the coral growth or just what they grew this coral on to frag it.... looks to be coral growth to me....

Can anyone Id it for me? obviously not the mushrooms...

you know I had looked at that previously and decided it wasnt that because all of the ones I saw online had a different color center and each polyp was A LOT longer. BUT since you said it, im beginning to lean towards that answer. Anyone second...er third that answer?

Kinda weird, now that i see the picture of the coral instead of lookin at it with my eye it does resemble a goniopora.......hmm thanks magn

I love marsh. I look around for a few hours and dont come to a conclusion, post up and 5 mins later already have an answer!!!!!

I've got a cup coral, polyps look just like that...

good call brandon. pagoda does seem to be a little more what this looks like. It definatly excrusts very much in the same way as pogoda......hmmmm maybe ill have to go up to CP and see if they have anymore so i can confirm what this thing is. its looks like both haha

I got a slightly larger frag that looks exactly like this back in Nov from CP and they said it was Pagoda then. Mine has since started taking on that nice glowing green coloration.
