Okay. I remember back in 2008 when i first go addicted to the drug that is marine aquaria. At that time it seemed that everybody judged how healthy their tank was by the amount of Coraline algea they had covering their tank. Now it seems that coraline algea is not the ideal thing but a super clean tank is (Please correct me if i am wrong). Now, I was out of the habit for a couple years from 2011-2013 and recently got back into it and of course i am full addicted. That being said, there are alot of thigs that were discovered while i was away and i would like clarification if possible. Firstly, Is keeping you cheato engulfed in light all the time not a good thing? I know with culerpa we did it to keep it from going sexual but is that out as well? So many questions! I recently discovered the Kessil LED lighting system and have compaerd it to the LED fixtures on the market. I know that the Kessil is an LED light therefore i am comparing apples to apples but opinions of which is the way to go for reef is greatly appreciated. I guess i am looking for a friendly agrument in regards to whats the best now. Anyone with the desire to argue either way on coraline or lighting or filtration, or reactors, additives, dosing, ect ect please feel free to shout it out here.I look forward to your replys. Thank y'all and have a wonderful day.

I dont like coraline, never ever have. I scrape my glass, all sides and let it grow on my powerheads until I clean them.

I always kept cheato 12/12 schedule

Sent with the power of children's screams!!!

My last tank I let it grow. My current tank I keep it clean. I personally like the clean look more but it's completely up to you. Go with the look you like.
