First of all, my largest Sherman RBTA climbed into my Jebao WP-40 power head last night and got totally shredded. I managed to get out a tiny piece that looks like it might have a remnant of a tentacle. Doubt it will survive, but we'll see.

Secondly, this emerald crab, one of 6, showed up missing one whole claw and half of the other one. He's kinda big, but not the biggest. He must have gotten in a fight with the larger one. I didn't know they did that. Hope it survives.

Did a 30 gal water change right away. The livestock looks just fine this afternoon

Test your nitrates tomorrow and every day after for three days. As the flesh starts to decompose it might spike your nitrates. If it does, then keep hustling on the water changes.
