Finally got some pix posted to my website of my second tank, and thought I'd show it off a bit!

Tank Description:
* 20 gallon cube I made from 1/4 inch glass
* Bought the surround/canopy from Keith at Aquatic Designs and stripped it, added a 6 inch oak veneer base to raise it, and stained it to match our TV room furniture.
* I built in glass partitions in the back 4 inches for a mini-ecosystem
* It has 200 watts of PC lighting with two 50/50 lamps
* It has a Iceworks probe-style chiller in the back to keep it cool.

Inhabitants:
Right now, I have a mated pair of maroon clowns in the tank with a long tentacle anenome.

I put the fish/anenome in the tank Tuesday night, and the male eats anything I put in the tank but the female is not eating yet. Any ideas to pass along?

Looking good!

I'll let our resident clown experts speculate on why your female isn't eating. But one thing I can offer - your LTA will probably be happier if you move it to the base of the rocks. They like to have their foot buried in the sand, beneath the rock base.

won't it move to the bottom on it's own?

feedback from others is appreciated here... I've never had an anenome before.

How long are you planing on keeping those clowns in the tank? If they get frisky you will be likely BLEEDING every time you put your hand in the tank. IMO Marroons are scary to put in such a small tank. :D I have to wear gloves now with my cinnamons and they are not half as nasty as maroons.

Oh NOW I'm told this wasn't a good choice!

BTW, I'm going to try live brine shrimp and/or frozen mysis today to see if the female will eat.

Forgot about the eating thing...
When you move clowns around they get mad and go on hunger strikes. The males will nibble the females won't eat. If you give it a few days they'll grow out of it. When I moved my sea pig pair from the 25 to the 65 they went on a hunger strike for a day. It took putting some ghost shrimp into the tank that I had been keeping in the fuge to get them to activily search for food and eat.

That statement applies to WC clowns. Tank Raised have spent their entire life being moved around.

I finally got the female to eat some megamarine frozen food last night. :D

Anyone have ideas as to how to make this stuff sink? I just hate floating food as most of it goes into the overflow!!! :x

If it stays solid under water you can take a paper clip or bend a barbless hook straight and tie it to fishing line.
