So I think we really have a hard time saying that those corals come from low water movement areas.

I agree that the water movement of natural environment of the deep corals could be a lot stronger than that of our aquarium, but should be less than the shallow water sps's environments. Hence, I thinke deep corals are easier to keep than the shallow water sps; and I'm sure the deep water corals are more tolerable to lighting requirements than the shallow type.
Kevin and Twinspot are two locals who keep a lot of deep water sps - and i'm sure they can tell you that the deep water corals are hardy (again, compared to shallow water sps! not to any corals).

ok, so where can I buy some deep water SPS? I've never seen them described this way in stores. Does one have to know the species by name or by looks to be able to spot it and buy it?

And are they far more expensive than shallow water sps?

They have awesome stuff but rarely update; you have to catch them fast. Some of the BTAs and Anenomes that they have had are unbelievable. I am desparate to get a purple based BTA like they have had but prefer to shop locally. AD said they can get me one from their cherry picker which is great.
