I might have to sell some. I counted them last night and I have 12 adults that I bought and now I have 17 babies added to that. The black one is going to burst anyday and I think I am going to run out of room. I might have to move up to a 5 or 10 gallon. Also those snails are freakin laying eggs all over my reef aquariums in the hundreds so I will end up with a lot of those too.

Let me know i wouldnet mind 1 or 2 or the adults rather than babies but that babies would be cool too. Let me know when some pop out :)

Dwarf seahorses are super cool. Just keep in mind they HAVE to have newly hatch decapsulated brine shrimp every day. The adults can eat brine that is a few days old, but the babies have to have newly hatched.

You could easily put 10 horses in a 2 gallon, so a pair would be swallowed up in most tanks.

You can find articles about taking care of dwarves at www.seahorse.org

Juveniles have a very, very high mortality rate, so chances are that nature will thin out your number before long. :(

It looks like I keep having more and more babies and the last I counted there were 12 adults and 17 babies, plus some more today. They are all doing good. I saw one dead one tonight. I dont use decapsulated- wish I could, but the batch I got never would hatch so I am just using normal brine. So far so good. I am setting up another aquarium as I am sure this 2 1/2 gallon can accomodate the ponies, its just I am worried about the water conditions varying too much and it just looks clustered now. Tell me if I am doing this wrong, but I get a bunch of brine and put it in the tank. It lasts them all day long and any that die, I have those snails that will eat your puppy if they get to it. I think that is a good way to do it. Not on subject, but my black percula just died for some reason and I have about 6 of those snails on it eating it. There will be nothing left in a day or 2. I love those things.

They are those obsoletas snails that you get on ebay for like 8 bucks. I have 100 of them I think and they are laying eggs on my glass. At least thats what I think they are doing.

Cakepro is exactly right. Everyday I am finding more and more dead babies on the ground.
