My decorator Urchin=Pigpen

My wife named my urchin "PigPen" because it wanders around the tank picking up stray debris, rocks, etc. Last night I looked closely, it had picked up a 1/2" cerith snail and was carrying it around upside-down. At first I thought it was dead, but no, it was straining so hard to reach something it could grab it was half out of it's shell. All the while PigPen sauntered along, unaware of the little guys plight. I knocked it loose, but the story of the little snail had my wife in fits of laughter for about 40 minutes. (she's easily entertained)

Other than that we've had
"Ursula" a green Brittle star (Now with TVU's uncle)
"Tyrone" another brittle star (not green, red and banded)
"Anna" the rock anemone
and of course
"Creepy" a Mithrax Crab

Hahaha:

We (actually mostly the kids) named our Harlequin Tusk, "Jet".
Our Blue Chin trigger "Marshall".
Our Fridmani Pseudo "Jack in the Rock".
Our Tassled Filefish "Seymour".
Our Lawnmower Blenny "Blenny Hill".
and our two Ocellaris "Dumb and Dumber" (because it took me forever to get these tank bred dudes to recognize their anemone).

Oh, I forgot about the S. Gigantea... "Owie, Owie, Owie" LOL

The rest of the inverts have been spared :)

We (mostly I....LOL) have named several things. It does make it easier to refer to certain individuals without having to say the whole name:

Hawaiian flame wrasse: Loki (the Norse god of fire and mischief)
yellow tang: Sunni (I know, how original)
male black and white clown: Marlin (don't even say it.......)
female black and white clown: Coral (yeah, yeah, I know)
female jawfish: Mom
male jawfish: Dad
other jawfish: The Third One
coral beauty: Beautiful
Bartlett's anthias: Bart
red serpent star: Red
brown serpent star: Uno
tan and brown serpent star: Nubbins (We rescued from Aquarium World because he was being eaten by a brittle star)

None of the others have names. Karen asked me yesterday what I was going to name our new pink margin wrasse.......her suggestion: Pinky...LOL

My wife named our LW blenny - Lenny - yep it's Lenny the blenny - I myself have to go along with boosted. If it dies without a name it just another dead fish but when you name um your losing part of the family
