It's often said that tangs can catch ich very easily, I just like a little survey if you own a tang of any kind.

powder browns are not too bad.....blues, forget about it.

i like tangs, but have to say my tank looked much better when i got rid of them.
huge bio load.
i kept a blue and a brown for awhile.

Yeah you have a good point there Chuck about the bioload but it can be done. I keep up with weekly water changes, super high flow, feed every other day, decent skimmer, and I stir the sand bed almost daily, change filter pads weekly, and run GFO/Carbon.
