Guys,

Does anyone has or know someone who has the RRC Jawdropper Acro???
Preferred in Houston maybe?
This thingy is quite costly and I would like to know what it really looks like honestly.

Talking to Ben years back, it did not kick him off the chair really, so that I do like to do some more research first and talk to people who own this species.

Thanks for any help to the Acro cracks here ;-)

There are only 3 ppl still who have it from the originally colony in 2013.
10 frags were sold in the US.
I was lucky enough to have a foot in the door with Ben Zimmerman who got them here together with Raymond that time.
Had it for I think 14 months and grew out into a 1.5" frag, super slow growing.
With all the negative hype about this coral on every reef forum I decided to sell it off as nobody would drop down $1800 for a 1/2" anywa.
The lady I sold it too lives in Florida and has her own maintenance company.
The other guys that I stayed in contact with was Keith out of Miami who sold I think two years ago to Mike Biggar.
The other guy Robby is his name lives in Dallas but don't know the status on his colony.
I believe who ever still has the JD decided to do a name change as it wasn't a nice subject to talk about.
I myself even removed it from my tank and it was fir 6 months in Sergio N his tank, after he decided to break down his system I just put it in my frag system next to the RP and SSC.
Good luck finding one as what sometimes comes in the market isn't from the mother colony, due to her passing in 2014.

Thx for chiming in Ben ;-)
Dan was offering me chips of encrusted material and also decent sized frags.
He also showed me a picture of his colony.

How trustful this goes back to the original colony.....I don't know.

That's the thing, you don't know.
RR USA had on one point the JD also but they looked different, still nice but if on one point a coral is branded with a name it's hard to get into it with a different colony.
When I was at Tony to help him prep for a Livesale two years back we gave it a different name and sold as hot cakes.
As why in the last year a steep decline in coral prices, especially the SPS.
Speaking about livesale maybe I should do a "Back To School" livesale with Crazy T in 2 or 3 weeks.
