More questions from the newbie...Petco and PetsMart has a decent 75g and 80g tank but they have a sticker on it that says "tempered glass, do not drill". Now if I were to buy a tank out of the paper how would I know whether we could drill it or not?

We have built our own little refugium and sump and are quite proud of ourselves. We're going to start running that by itself to get things going until we find the "perfect" tank.

Somewhere on the inside of the tank lip you can usually found the manufacture date. If you call the company that made it they can tell you if its safe to drill or not. I know on many Oceanic tanks only the bottom panel is tempered.
