Ok, this may sound stupid, but I saw some emerald crabs at the LFS today and bought one. I just told the guy at the LFS to grab any one and they were under actinic lights only, so they all looked the same. On my way home I looked in the bag and saw the crab was not "Green" he was a pinkish/red color. I have researched it to see if they can possibly be pinkish/red, but cannot find anything. I don't have a pic right now, but this crab looks exactly like an emerald, except it is a pinkish red color. I just don't want to put a problem into my tank and I cant find any info on-line. :?

Mine is like that too... So far it has been well behaved and I have noticed a few bubble algae popped.

speaking of bubble algae...I have a really mild bubble algae problem in my 48 G (like 4-5 bubbles) but they are in spots that I can't reach. Been thinking about an emerald crab. Will they leave SPS and LPS alone?
