Has any one used Epsom Salt to dose for magnesium? Dose it work, or does it cause problems with your tank? If you use it how much do you dose and how often?

I've heard it helps with the growth of macro algae.

I use Epson salt a while back to raise my magnesium up. If I remember it right, I use 8oz of Epson salt to raise 100 ppm in my 200 gal. If use regularly you will end up having too much sulfate in your tank.
