On the electric warning sticker thing on the back it says "Model 24 Submersible Pump"

I am now guessing "Supreme Pond-Mag 24" ?

I have no idea but I do not think I need a $250 2,400 GPH pond pump for my tanks yet. My two main things are either a small RO unit or a circulation fan like an MP30 or something I don't know D:

Do you ever plan on having a large container for making saltwater? Those pumps are great for mixing the salt and water.

I have a 65 gal container I mix my saltwater in. I have a pump like that inside the mixing tank. I plug it in to mix the water. Then I connect a hose to it and run the hose to my tank to refill.

Probably not for a long time. I pretty much want to get into doing about 5g water changes upwards of twice a week on my 55G tank, the girlfriend won't approve a larger tank until we move into a more permanent home. If it comes to it, I have another small pump somewhere in my work supplies I can use that's "mine" which I actually use right now to mix the salt for my saltwater system at work in a 33G barrel.

i would not sell it, keep it and buy the pump you want, never know when you will get the itch for a large build.

Yea but I probably won't be able to get a large build for a few years. I'd think it be more practical to get an RO unit not only for the tanks but for drinking water for me and other animals too right? Especially with Clear Lake's tap water right now haha.

Yeah if you don't need it then go for the RO/DI unit. I wouldn't have a reef tank without one. Makes life so much easier.
