I’m happy with this one, me and my dad built the car. Been in the family over 30 years I pulled the original 289 and hand built a hot little 302 for it. 90’s engine I also pulled the 4 speed and put in a T5 pulled the 8 inch rear and narrowed a 8.8 explorer rear ended so I could get disk brakes posi and 373 gears. Much faster than that Mitsubishi ever hoped to be.

Nice, if I trusted my stealth not to destroy the transfer case/transmission on the next time I hit WOT I'd say let's go for a run, but I know my car would break.

Now when my new C8 comes in... I'll give you a run. It's being built within the next few weeks according to chevy.

I don’t think so. Damn I love that car. They finally built a super car. I never wanted a vette so badly.

I’m more than sure I could run a stealth. I had a VR4 from experience I’m sure the mustang would get it in in the 1/4.

What kind of 1/4 is the mustang running? Worse mods and lower hp 3/S's are running mid 11's.

Yeah, I've never really considered a vette in my life. When I watched the launch live I was like.. I want it. So a few days later I ordered it.

Somehow I must have picked the worst dealer as everyone I know that I've talked to have gotten their C8 already. I feel I'm one of the last people to get it with a July '19 order.

Haven’t taken it to the track yet. Not really interested in running it that hard. It’s a classic car / resto mod. Really there are whole lot of cars that run faster. I just enjoyed building my first engine. I would say it’s probably only pushing around 350 HP I did all the work myself porting polishing the heads cam cylinders all of it. It’s a full roller if I could get some softer tires I could make it grab a little better it will smoke the tires in first second and chirp in third gear. Really need to put in on the sump just out of curiosity.

If I wanted to do one thing to my truck to make it faster, what would that be?

These guys are street outlaws. :)
Only time I've ever gotten in trouble with the law is from cars. I've had more than a few tickets. I'd argue I've been lucky though. The times where I did really stupid ************ the cops were really nice. The times where I got pulled over for doing nothing wrong I've had the book thrown at me.

What model / year?

If it's newer a new tune / chip is probably one of the cheapest / easiest upgrades.

I put a cam in ported and polished the heads port matched the intake. Added exhaust windage tray. That’s about it.

Real estate is safer than stocks imo. But everything has been running full throttle for a long time. I do wonder if we will let off the gas slowly or will everything just uncouple suddenly and blow a gasket?
