Experience at small LFS. Great (1 Viewer)

I was at a small store in pearland today called "fish bowl and more" looking for some clown fish and a RBTA for my daughters tank. Most of the nems were too small for me to take one home so I said we would check back.

At that exact moment a guy came in with a softball sized carpet nem and wanted to trade it in for credit because it was too big for his nano tank. I'm not sure what deal they agreed to or how that played out.

So anyways, we went to check out at the counter and that carpet was sitting in a bag right there and me and my wife both made a comment on how nice it was. My daughter sat there and stared at it the entire time. The owner of the store, who was also the one we had been dealing with saw and and said " she likes that carpet a lot huh" me and my wife both just nodded with a little smile and said yeah but it's more than we wanted to spend on her tank.

This guy looked at my daughter and said " she is way too happy and curious not to have a nem to go with her clown fish, you can have it." It's free.

I just wanted to share that and give everyone a heads up that there is a small store in pearland called " fish bowl and more" that really cares about its customers and they deserve a little recognition.

Carlos, the owner, is a good guy. I paid him to baby sit my tank when I went out of town. He was very reliable and called me every day when he was over to give me a run down and let me know everything was ok. He was very reasonable and came every day for a week.
