I have a bunch of 5g cans. I just fill the cars with it until it’s gone after hurricane passes.

On another note I can’t catch a fricken break on my smaller generator. Has a Subaru/robin ex30 engine.

I’m on the 3rd replacement carb.

Original that came with generator leaks like a sieve after being stored (assuming gaskets dried out).

1st replacement - idle surge
2nd replacement - runs good but leaks from float bowel. Tried to use gasket from 1st replacement but no joy.

So return to amazon requested, #3 on order [emoji2955] but won’t be here until next Monday.

How do you guys store fuel? How much do you store?

I want to store a 55/g drum (have a detached garage) and after bad weather is gone I can pump it in the car.
I have 4 - 5gallon cans I filled up plus I topped off the generator. I put fuel stabilizer in each can just to be safe. Once the season is done I give it to the lawn man to use in his mowers. I just don’t trust that gas in my car.

I wouldn't trust gas in a Tesla either.

Not 9000w and not $650. I have access to a big generator for now, but after harbor freight is restocked, that’s my buy.

FINALLY replacement carburetor #3 is a winner! Still waiting for new air filter to arrive. Also noticed a small miss. Probably need to check the spark plug.

Not sure if good idea or not but I use higher octane fuel on my pressure washer and always starts right away Even though it sits for months

I know it gets expensive to use premium gas on generator but run some higher octane to clean it up just a thought
