I would like to use some egg-crate for my frag tank, any suggestions on what can I use as raisers/feet for it?
I had some 3D-Printed ones, but they were so brittle that would break so easily. Looking for alternatives and more durable.

I’d you have a table saw you can slot the end of a long piece of pvc “+” in that shape and then cut to length by hand. Rinse and repeat. The egg crate will slide into the “+”

I would try to soak that egg crate and change the water. Mine have always released silicates and caused algae problems.

3D printed shouldn't have been brittle. Either it was the wrong material (PLA) or the design wasn't great.

Pics of it and I can offer thoughts

Decided to design my own... while trying to get my printer back up and working (have spent far more time on that than the designing!)

Designed with stackable features. Comes in 1" and 2" sizes, very small foot print. They can be zip-tied together as well.

Not for sale, but for those with 3D Printers the files are available here: Egg Crate Frag Rack Holder (Stackable) by drewprice
