I'm running the jecod 7000 and have 4 inch filter socks. The socks start overflowing with bubbles soon after putting them on. Prior to putting therm on I rinse them well with ro water birdcage they are new. I'm thinking there is to much flow for the socks even though I'm only risking the pump on the second setting. It also overflows on the first setting. I'm considering splitting the return and running 2 socks but I feel like that is overkill. I'm definitely no expert but I would think the sock should handle the flow. I also have the pipe going several inches into the water. Any input is appreciated.
