Filter Sock (1 Viewer)

Good afternoon everyone. I have both of my overflow's dumping directly to a filter sock. I recently started putting ClearFX-Pro in the socks to help polish the water. Does anyone else do this and is there a reason to NOT do it? Not necessarily ClearFX but do you put anything in your filter socks?

Me too!! I was looking at it at the Reef-A-Palooza in Orlando. The 7” is like 289.00 I believe. It look pretty awesome

My fear of something like that is that it would take out way too much from the water and strip it of the nice organics that our corals know and love.

Do you think it would take out more than a filter she sock? I like the idea of getting away from having to clean socks and remembering to change them out.

I bought some that are 5 micron. Doesn't appear to clog up so fast.
