No, I went in there the other day and he said a couple of weeks. They looked like they had more than a couple of weeks worth of work to me however. But they had a couple of their display tanks cycling.

John is the owner.
Global is no longer.
Aquatic world is John's new store.

John has always been one of my favorite retailers. Good stock for decent prices. And you won't find a more kind knowlegable owner.

I went in there today, he is open. But he doesn't have his sw section open yet. He has some birds, and fresh water. He said global was closed when he bought this property. He said that the old sw system totally failed flooding everything. So he was having to rebuild everything. He has a couple displays cycling. But it isn't up and running yet.

It is all the way to 290. Actually it is just north of the light you can turn to to get to the golf course. 2 lights north of 290. Past west.

I'm mildly pleased. He had a bunch of interesting stuff, ice cap ballast, plumbing supplies, plenty of parts. I didn't see price tags. However his additives were a bit on the high side. I guess we'll see. He had a tank he hadn't set up yet. That was 4'x4'x18" (eyeballed) that I'm assuming is going to be a frag tank. So that is promising...

Do they have fish and corals yet? Have gone the past few months a few times and everytime I ask they say 2 weeks so I got tired of going there.

I haven't been in the store for awhile. I talked to John last week and he said he had his saltwater section going, but I would call before burning any gas.

What happened to aquatic world? Me and the wife stopped by about a year ago and they were closed. Was is because of the Flood?

My understanding was the owners were getting out of the business. They were closed for quite awhile before John from Global took it over. It wasn't due to a flood.
