So I had my Flame Angel for about 16 months, never noticed any issues. About 6 months ago I noticed that my millies no longer would extend their polyps during the day, figured it was something I screwed up. About two weeks ago my porites that is fuzzy, wasnt fuzzy anymore, once again thought it was my water. I was watching my tank last week and saw my Flame angel swoop by and nip my porites! That was it he had to go. Set a trap sun and every fish BUT him would go in it. I decide to starve everyone for a day and tonight the SOB went into the trap! Woohooo.

Thanks for letting me borrow the trap Ostentum.

I've been there, too. Bought one that was certified reef-safe and he turned out to be anything but. Seems he had a taste for my high-end corals, but not the cheaper ones in the fish store. The LFS owner was kind enough to catch him for me, and from now on, I'll admire them in other people's tanks!

I was going to do a reef tank in my 90 but I think I'm going to set it up as a pygmy angel fish tank. I would like to get several of the centropyge types. Not sure how well they would all behave towards each other though even if introduced at the same time.

I have a flame angel available:)

Mine wasnt destructive, only SAW him nip once. He was definately keeping polyp ext down, my corals are looking much better just in the short time he has been out.
