Pleurobranchaea inconspicua is actually a relative of the nudibranchs. It is a side gilled slug instead of feathery gills on its back it has a raised portion under which it has slits leading to the internal gill structures.

Need some help!!!!??

Actually we do use volunteers all the time. I work out of Port Arthur but we have a lab in Dickinson. TPWD Coastal Fisheries. There is also a Coastal Fisheries Facebook page where a lot of neat stuff shows up on the daily feed.

Yeah I know where that lab is!! If I could get some free time I would love to help, But work has got me so busy. What are you tagging sharks for? I use to help a buddy that worked for a&m tagging juvi. black tips and bull sharks and we would pull parasite samples, but unfortunately he is working at auburn now and only get to do a trip once a year.

It is a special project in conjunction with NMFS. Size, abundance, and distribution. Tagging for growth and movement. That one was a large Lemon just off the beach between High Island and Sabine Pass.
