Just wanted to show fragging my elegance. I have had this coral for over 10 Years. I had a friend that had it probably 4 or 5 years before that and bought it at the fish store that was on Beechnut and Gessner. It and started out a little larger than the size of a softball and grew to the size larger than a football. A coral fell in the center of it stinging it and separating it. He cut it apart and gave me a section a little bigger than a baseball. Over the last 10 years or so it has grown to the size of a basketball. I fragged it 2 years ago and sold to some MARSH members MarkieB being one of them. He has grown his piece from 1in. to 6in. in the last 2 years. This has been the one coral of my tank that I have been the proudest of as you can tell. Last night I cut it up into 6 pieces now. They are not for sale right now but I will let you know if I decide to. Looking at the parent colony at the bottom there was a small piece that I was cutting. Fully open it was about 2 in but closed about half that. As I was cutting around this piece the skeleton became brittle and fell apart separating it into 2 pieces. Suprising enough both halves are trying to open up.
