So I see mixed comments on this and am curious. I know with most shrooms (at least from what I've seen could be completely wrong) you can just cut them in pieces and rubber band or tie to a rock and it grows into anther shroom. I've seen some say you can do the same with Ricordia, but then others say to carefully cut either through a mouth or between two or more mouths if you have one thats a slow splitter.

Even saw one guy said to cut it's foot off if stuck to a rock and it will also grow into a new one.

So what is ya'll expert experience with these? If it's that easy I might even try my first frag in the upcoming weeks

I involuntarily fragged one of my rics a few weeks ago by trying to rubber band it to a rock. I guess it was too tight, because it split into 4 pieces! I caught 3 of them and they have survived in my plastic floating breeder for the past few weeks. They haven't grown much, but I plan to use some netting or something to try and help them attach to some rubble.

If you have one with two mouths, I would not hesitate to split it if you wanted to.

Good luck!

yup cut then like a pizza lol. I've found if you make a small holder from some smallegg crate you can toss a bunch of rubble in along with your rics frag and let them attach on their own it works really well too
