So everything is going good but now my gfci is kicking off every few hours...It has 2 sets of lights running on it, my return pump, and my ato.

I moved my skimmer over to my other outlet with a gfci on it and it has my heaters and skimmer.

What could be causing this? Does anyone know if an electrician can come in and just change out the outlet for a gfci? If so how much?

This is the one that tripping.

And this one is not.
Plug-In GFCI Adapter (3-Wire Grounding)-30339036 at The Home Depot

Or should I Just take both out and get a inline gfci extension cord and run it to the outlet?

All I have mine on is a surge protector plugged into the wall outlet. Maybe chunk the first one and get another yellow one that is not giving you any problems and if it still continues then it might be something else causing it to do that.

So I havent really posted any updates since everything has been going slow, but now I'm having problems. My zoas wont open!!! I have two ricks of zoas and they just will not open. It looks like they try to open but just won'. They were doing great foe the first 2-3 months....now nothing. My frogspawn that I got at Dennis anniversary is doing fine and my goni that i oicked up at brians marsh gathering before the opening is doing fine.

They're in low flow and the problem started before I started battling dino. I started running carbon to see if it would help and its still the same. Thinking about running gfo but idk. Heres a before picture and one of the goni.

you might pull them and perform a dip...When my son had his 36g tank our zoanthids closed up like that due to zoanthid nudi's...

I don't if it has been proven scientifically via controlled tests but I have read they like a little lower salinity 1.024 range but since this is new I'm not sure its really an issue. But you may want to do some research. Just a thought... Not sure what other corals you have and what impacts that might have.

So i forgot to update again...so i dipped the zoas and the next day they were all open again. Also I've had a blue/green chromis to jump out of my tank and die and my blue reef chromis died in the tank. Idk what happened to those but I will say that one of my blue/green chromis is super aggressive. He picks on everyone in the tank but the tang and sometimes even goes after him. Ugh, contemplating on giving the chromis away. Hey fights with the clowns even whem there's no food in the tank. Any other ideas on what could be causing this?

Did anything come off in the dip?

As far the fish I have read other accounts of people introducing multiple chromis to the tank and over time there becomes one dominate that harasses the others until he is the only one left.
