Wanted to know what everyone I using for lighting in their fuge. I had been using a Coralife 50/50 retro light. However, it didn't work to well as I lost almost all of my red macros. I see a lot of people using the HD clip lights but what kind of bulbs are you all using. I grabbed a CF 65W equivalent with 5000K temp. Will this work?

Most of the CF lights I've seen used were more like 6500K. I know I had a hard time finding one at HD, but ended up finding one at Target. But the dang thing burned out after only a couple of months.

I was thinking of geetting the par 30 led's from lowes, but settled on a daylight bulb instead. looks really bright, and white not that yellow tint.
forgot the brand though, and it's cfl. i believe rated to equal a hundred watts.

I run the stunner 8k and 50/50 actinic LED strips in my fuge. Had a problem with all the other PC and T5 fixtures rotting out from rust and salt creep. Those strips work great for me. Chaeto and Caulerpa love it.
