How much do you feed? I decided to make my 60 gallon a SPS tank and have no idea how to feed them with in reason.

So lets say you have one 3 inch mini colony how much would you feed it specifically? 1 ml? 1/2 ml? Is that to much? Does it depend on the type of acro? In this specific case its a 3" Acropora lokani. Feeding has always been a problem for me because its always so subjective. I really need some measurements so I have some idea as to how much I should feed until I get my feet wet. I have one fish and some snails in it currently (5 inch marine betta) and dont plan on getting any more.

I ordered some acropower since I have seen everyone raving about it. I dont have any other food yet but will get some, just need to know what to get.

Heres a pic of the coral. I have wanted this coral for years and I really dont want to kill it.

um, for right now I would just test your water. makes sure that your tank is stable in maintaining its general set stats. that is the main thing. as for feeding, I don't see that being a necessity until you have a variety of corals and your numbers are dropping. make sure your lights are adequate enough.

main thing, like Ben (diesel) has stated, just watch your corals. all this stuff is not a big deal at first. you just mainly need stability.

Yep, stability and water quality is key!
Make sure you have good test kits for Alk, Calc, and Mag.
You may eventually need to start dosing to keep parameters stable, but not yet.
Alk should around 7.5-8.5, Calc around 400-450, and Mag around 1350. You can deviate from these numbers a bit but those are some general guidelines to shoot for.

The only thing I really feed (not daily) is Oyster Feast and Reef Chili.
They get most everything then need from fish poop and lighting. So more fish would be a good thing.
