I hope nothing is wrong with my Green Manderin! He seems to be great during the day but for the past couple nights hes done something really weird at about 8 to 830 at night. He just sits right at the top center of the tank and its looks like hes just observing the rest of the tank. Its really funny. Then after about an hour he goes back to hes normal behavior. He looks like hes in control of his movements so I dont think its his swim blatter. I did move the tank almost a week ago so maybe its just a little stress. But he does it just at that time. Any ideas?

have you checked your parameters lately? Since you moved your tank you may get a small spike. Your mandarin is probably fine...just being curious. But since you moved your tank it won't hurt to check your levels.

Ive checked all the basic stuff and Im ok. I did a water change when I moved too so I think that helped. He's doing fine again today so I guess hes just messing around. thanks

Its really funny. He just goes to the top and swims in little circles for about an hour then quits. At first I was like uh oh... but now its just rutine. Ill see if I cant get a pic of it. But I dont have a good digital camera.

My largest lawn mower blenny will chase his reflection in the glass up and down all day long....sometimes he gets chased away when he gets too close to the pearly jawfish burrow though
