I got a morish idol 2 black percs a juvy inperator a neon dotty back and a flame fin tang it dosent have all the live rock yet just got a few pieces for now until I get some more money to spend will post pics later

Thats a good question. How new is new? Be careful with the bio-load considering you said you are short on rock. I assume the tank has been cycled?

Would love to see the flame tang!! I am a softy for tangs.

I cheated LOL I put water from my last tank which was fully cycled in my return section about a couple cups every day got about a week then I got some instant cycle and put a little of that in.. But it had a mini cycle hopefully it's ok il post pics later when I get to a computer and I put them in at the same time.. The tang is a little shy he just started coming out

I also used instant cycle on my old 75 gallon that stuff works wonders

I moo u been trying garlic in everything he won't touch it he only eats algae off my rocks

rubberband nori to a rock and wedge it into the rocks where he is grazing... it will only take a few days of not eating

Nice tank..Idol is very hard to keep..i kept one for 6-8months..was eating like a pig..i went on vacation for 4days, came back and he decided not to eat anymore..after 2weeks of not eating..RIP..Good luck with the idol..
