Something I feel should have been included in this article

They always seem to find your powerheads and they are the biggest pain in the arse ive ever. I will never put another anemone in my tank. IT was stress from day one. From now on im sticking with corals that dont walk around :D

My buddy just introduced his green BTA's into his main display and they have been giving him migraines ever since.

If you change anything in your tank..lighting...powerheads..water quality..they start moving.

Also, they are very likely going to split upon introduction into your system. The only thing worse than one roving, coral stinging, powerhead bound anemone is two of them.

Whats funny is I knew all of this before hand yet I tried one anyway.

This is simply my experience with Anemones and many out there have had no issues with them.

I absolutely agree about the headache when the ane's start moving around :) since i have 6 BTA in my tank w/ lot of sps. 3 of them stay ~ their original location for quite a long time now.. but the other two keep moving around!!
Oh, one of the roses (the moving one) splitted the other day - so I have 7 BTA now!!

Could you place them, in a short PVC pipe to keep them form moving, or can they climb the vertical side? Thought I heard Dr Ron saying that once, but his was quite big, and he used a bigger pvc than I was willing.

The BTA's in my tank have an 0-2 record when going up against my closed-loop intake. The first one I tried bit it within a few days. The second one was one of those cheap RBTA's I got from City Pets. It stayed put for 6 weeks and was doing really well, then one day it decided to wander and ran into the closed loop intake. I came home from work to find anemone chunks blown all over my tank. :-x
