It's debatable. Some say the bigger ones will kill fish. Mine was fine. He would attack a snail every once in a while. I just fed him when I fed my anemones. Never had any problems. I think they get a bad rap because they clean up everything. If something dies or gets sick it will eat them.

Brandon. Do you think it would leave my fish alone if I feed it on a regular basis?... I fed it a piece of silver side tonight. It came right to my hand and took it from me. The only fish I am worried about now is my diamond goby

They are a known predator in the wild. The animal does not know another meal is coming tonight, or tomorrow...so it may take advantage of any situation it finds. That is its instinct.

I have 3 huge green brittlestars for years with a sixline and cleanershrimp...never a problem. But I feed heavily, and I know it is a possibility. If it happens, so be it...but it is a definite risk.
