I have read several articles on the site about anemones splitting after a water change. Has anyone had one split into three before?

I had four bubble tips this weekend, three green and one yellow. The one that split was the smallest one in my tank and also the newest. I did a 10% water change on Sunday, got home from work yesterday to find that the anemone had split and when I got up this morning it had split again.
