I need to get S strain rotifers for them, the L are too large. I tried feeding them in a fairly dense culture of L rotifers hoping that the young L would be small enough for them but unfortunately they weren't. How's your pair?
I don't believe they've mated. My female is still too young, although, her belly seems plump all the time. The male is twice its size. They do get along well though. Ditto for the pair of maroons in the same tank.
