Good afternoon,

Been away from this forum for a while but decided to post about a coral I'm struggling with.

My tank is a innovative marine 30L. The coral is directly under a kessil 360X about 6 inches from the bottom of the tank. When I bought the coral from IJAM corals he said he had it under medium mostly actinic lights. I've kept teh kessil light more blue than what i usually like hoping that would help.

It was fully encrusted, and over the last 5 months the edges have slowly died. I noticed that my sea urchin does like to hang nearby and does bother it a bit. But basically, from what I can tell its just struggling not to die. The colors have dimmed and very little extension.

Monday I moved him almost to the sand bed, but questioning my decision. He does have quite a bit of flow where he's at.

I have a lobo growing very well near the top of the water on a shelf with less water flow. was debating moving him up there, but that could be more stress.

I also have some aiptasia outbreak that's embarrassing .

Is the aiptasia touching the coral? What are your nitrates and phosphates?
