Don't suggest the idea of a group buy. Find the group buy that you'd like and present it to the group. Every person in the club could be interested, but if they don't know the way to steer the interest, it's pointless. Do you have any seller in mind? Typically, I would recommend contacting the seller and negotiate an obstacle. This means that you will get them to agree upon a deal. If you can get enough purchasers (i.e. surpass a certain dollar amount for sales), then they will give you a discount. That way they know they will get a guaranteed bulk purchase, and in exchange, will shave some dollars off of the price.

Sorry if I came off as harsh, just trying to help you figure out how to get your program off of the launch pad. Group buys are obstacle purchases, and this is a common concept in sales, which is what I deal in as a profession.
