are you running carbon? if not you should

Yep, I am running carbon. My wife says the tank is all cloudy. My son did the extraction since I am at work.

you might want to consider foam covers...

This is the third RBTA That I have had get chewed up in les than a year. After these last two recover, I will sell them and be done with RBTA's. I need to stick with critters that stay put.

Yeah I don't like anemones with other corals. Most of the time they move regardless of how stable the tank is.

Robert, get the spongs that goes around the wet side of the pump especially if you have anemones or in my case small snails.

That sucks! (pun intended).

Foam covers or no more nems. The only way to stop that from happening with btas.

I'm a man!

panty hose <cough>

No really, I'm a man. I just happen to use more panty hose than my wife between the pump heads and the brewing. They make great hop bags.

Grrrr. I'm feeling manly.

When I got home last night the anemone was as deflated as Rosanne Barr's blind date. The good news is that this morning it was half inflated so I think it's gnna make it. These RBTA's are pretty freakin' resilient. When it gets fully healed I will find it a new home. Here is a pic of what it once was under Royal Blue LED....

Well, when I woke up on Saturday I found a white gelatinous blob where the RBTA was the night before. So I siphoned out the remains. I really thought that it would make it but it didn't.
