I have three tanks and the oldest one is having an algae problem, which I would classify as Cyano. It reappears in force every morning coating everything, actually killing corals such as zoas.
Vibrant seems to slow it's progress, but my lps are not liking it.

Any suggestions to solve this problem, never had a major algae issue with this tank.

If it was a ro/di issue I would think I'd see it in all three tanks.

If it is like chemiclean, have plenty of replacement water handy. I had to route my skimate to a 5gallon bucket.

Wish i saw the 48 hour comment. Its a 30 gallon tank, so i put in 3 scoops, then the next day added another one. Looks like its working, only a few small patches left. Thanks guys.

Also the skimmer overflows back into the tank so... yeah. The skim is clear. emptied it about 4 times.
