I have a AI 52 HD light that the power supply blown. Does anyone know if the power supply can be fixed? Can the power supply (36V 3.33A) be a generic brick or are these things specific to the light?
This is the second power supply that has blown, so if I can't fix this, should I try a different light? I have a 24"X 48" tank with my SPS starting to take off.

It sucks because getting one from AI will take a couple of days and I don't want my SPS to sit in the dark. I do have a budget of 600 if I need too. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would imagine you can use a generic power supply, but I'm not sure where you'd look for one locally.

Thank you for the response! I've looked through the internet and couldn't find a solid answer. I've ordered two similar ones on Amazon with the same specs. I will post back what happens and maybe it might help someone else in the same boat.
